EDIBLE PLANT CELL PROJECT 2008
|
|||||||||||||||||||||
As a culminating activity to our study of cells, students were to
construct a model of a plant cell by using food. All parts of the
model were to be edible, but not necessarily pleasing to the taste.
J
The students, with the help of supportive parents, did an amazing
job!! The third and fourth graders were invited over to check out
the cells and to listen as each 5th grader explained the parts of
the plant cell and how it differs from an animal cell. Hats off to the 5th graders (and their
parents) for an outstanding job!! My most sincere thanks to Mrs. Owens for her willingness to share this amazing project with us! You can visit her site at: http://www.mccreary.k12.ky.us/smithtown/plantcells.htm |
