VETERAN'S DAY  2004

POCKET FLAG PROJECT    Dec., 2004

Thanks to the efforts of Heather B. and the American Legions and Auxiliaries of Aberdeen and Warner, our 5th and 6th graders met to fold small American flags which along with a letter from each student were placed in a small plastic bag,  These were then sent to Iraq to the soldiers of the 147th. Most exciting of all, Heather's husband, Ryan, home from Iraq on R&R surprised us by being there also!  There are no words with which to express just how very much that meant to us all!
