Our Really Exciting Online Project!!

This is the EIGHTH year of the O.R.E.O. Project!  Eight years of using the Oreo® cookie to teach Math, History, Language Arts, Science, Technology, and more in the classroom!  This project is open to classrooms of any grade in any location!  As of August 11th, this year's project is involving 411 classrooms from 46 states and 7 countries: Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Puerto Rico, Thailand, and Scotland!!!

The class from Scotland is our very own Primary 4 class of Mrs. Irene Parfect from Lenzie, Scotland.  Not only will they be joining us in the project, but we will be sending over packages of oreo® cookies and introducing them to this All-American treat!  What fun!!

This year students will be stacking the original oreo® cookie, making predictions, counting, and finding averages of how many oreo® cookies they can stack before they tumble!  There will be worksheets, games, fun links, trivia, lesson ideas and more to extend the project.
